Cambodia

Cambodia belongs to a bygone era, but in a good way. The temples of Angkor Wat take you way back in time, while the town of Siem Reap has an old Soviet vibe to it. We found the Cambodian people to be earnest and endearing, which makes the living memory of the genocide more heartbreaking. Our stay in Cambodia was the shortest in our travels; lasting all of 48 hours. While Angkor Wat warrants a visit on its own, we recommend clubbing it Cambodia with a trip to one of it’s Southeast Asian neighbours.
